The winner of best Art Doc was chosen by the jury of Estonian Art Museum (KUMU)
According to the jury, ASAK is a "visually compelling film that offers a poetic and ethnological view into the everyday life of the people in a small town of Iran. The blind craftsman who is also talented dream interpreter and who interacts with his natural material by tasting and touching, becomes almost an impossible phenomenon compared to the constant rush of the modern Western life, overloaded with artificial things.
The film offers a successfully whole experience by showing the environment and mindset of this unique artist, the relationship to the matter that he works with and the culture he lives in."
