SYNOPSIS

Diapason

1. Rana Salehi is a middle-aged woman and a deputy of one of the reputable banks of the country. On the birthday of her only child (Hoda), She faces a challenge on which makes her make different and strange decisions to get her rights.

2. Rana Salehi is a middle-aged woman and a bank deputy. On the birthday of Hoda, Rana’s only child who is now seventeen, an unexpected event occurs which gets Rana involved and puts her on a decision-making path.

Director's note

A few years ago in order to make a documentary, I met a girl who had boys' behaviors. She believed that if she was born the other sex, she would not have experienced a lot of things. I started researching on this subject. Now I have come to the conclusion that a high percentage of women wish to be men.

From there, I decided to make Diapason by looking into the most basic rights of women towards men.
